The truths we carry? “To Be Young, Gifted and Black” chronicles the life, passions, and dedication of Lorraine Hansberry the artist and the Black woman and all the ways the two meet. The mosaic is based on her unpublished writing, letters, and inner thoughts left behind after her untimely passing. Starring Ruby Dee.
