The Black Dragon’s Revenge

When legendary martial artist Bruce Lee unexpectedly passed in 1973, it sent shockwaves through Hollywood. He just completed the commercially and culturally successful Enter the Dragon (1973), his first English film. Hollywood’s response to this loss was to capitalize on Bruce Lee’s name and the Kung Fu craze with films avenging his death. Enter martial arts genius Ron Van Clief’s The Black Dragon’s Revenge. In the 1975 film, Van Clief plays a fictionalized version of himself demanding answers for Lee’s death.
