Remnants of the Watts Festival


Famed video artist Ulysses Jenkins captures an amalgamation of interviews, music performances, and photos to capture the Watts Summer Festival — a Black festival created in the wake of the 1965 Watts uprising — and, by extension, the ways community is integral to the Black experience in America.
