Killing Time/Fannie's Film

When the protagonist in the dark comedy “Killing Time," is unable to find the right outfit to die in, she takes it as a moment to ponder the will to live and the general complexities of life.

The expressive “Fannie’s Film” offers the internal dialogue of an older Black domestic worker telling us her dreams, feelings, and ambitions. The short forces the viewer to quietly questions assumptions of the profession. Woods’s two shorts “Killing Time” and “Fannie’s Film” are streaming together.
