Come Back, Africa

Blending documentary and fiction, “Come Back, Africa” sought to display an honest look at the effects of apartheid on Black South Africans by expoing “what people try to avoid seeing.” By chronicling the life of protagonist Zechariah, the film offers a window to understand the harsh injustices, prolonged oppression, and cruelty of apartheid and colonial rule.
